Here’s a break from Scotland….

We found a bunch of these little guys in our garden this summer.

Stirling University and Wallace Monument

September 1, 10 //

After lunch it was off to see Stirling University, such a beautiful campus at the foot of Abbey Craig and then the Wallace Monument which is at the top of Abbey Craig.

But first, loving the chimneys!

N’awlins

August 6, 10 //

While I get my act together to upload Scotland and Paris photos, I thought I’d do a post on New Orleans, from summer ’08.

YYZ

Just got back from Scotland and Paris but first, here are a couple from Toronto’s Pearson International Airport.

Ladies

July 28, 10 //

Love the expression on these women’s faces.

White

July 23, 10 //

Here’s a variation of green and pink….

With a touch of white. And wrinkles.

Seen in Jaipur on the way to Amer Palace. I think chairs might be my next thing.

Green + Pink

July 22, 10 //

Since we’re on colours…..

Here are some that were taken outside of our hotel in Jaipur.

What a gorgeous pink shawl.

Another possible triptych?

Yellow + Blue

July 21, 10 //

More blues and yellows.

These are from a boat ride in Bombay.

360

July 14, 10 //

We had dinner at the CN Tower’s 360 restaurant this past weekend. When we used to live across the street from the tower, we always marveled at it’s structure and enjoyed seeing the LED colours changing at night.  And the 360 restaurant has a magnificent revolving view of Toronto and is more than 351 metres (1,151 ft) from the ground.   The food and wine were fantastic, as well.  (Foodhogger will have to get on that ;) )

I’m now further convinced that La Tour CN really is a wonderful architectural and engineering wonder of the world, in our city.

Birthdays

July 7, 10 //

My friend A’s and my birthday are two days apart so we decided to celebrate them ogether this year. At the spa and out to dinner with friends.
