Brown Paper Packages

September 3, 10 //

Here’s a break from Scotland….

We found a bunch of these little guys in our garden this summer.

A & J Engaged!

August 15, 10 //

We are so happy for A & J. They recently got engaged and we were super excited to celebrate with them and capture their wonderful engagement party (much fun was had with my Parisian flea market hat)!
Their engagement shoot is coming soon!

Just a touch

August 9, 10 //

Besides red, a touch of pink works just as well. As seen around Argyle St. and Sloans Market in Glasgow.

N’awlins

August 6, 10 //

While I get my act together to upload Scotland and Paris photos, I thought I’d do a post on New Orleans, from summer ’08.

Meet the Hamiltons, again!

August 4, 10 //

If you’ll remember, we did this shoot in April and it’s already August and baby B is expected to arrive any day now, so I thought I’d re-post this one in honour (and anticipation) of baby B! Can’t wait to meet you, lil’ one! :)

~~

We had a blast shooting with the Hamiltons this past Easter weekend! The first time we captured the family together, it was a Christmas  shoot and photohogger was just starting up!  We always love shooting the Hamiltons, especially Em who’s a  ball of energy and a barrel of laughs. They’re expecting their 2nd baby boy in August, so it was nice to get the whole family together for a happy spring shoot.  K,S&Em thanks for all your support! xoxo

Crooked

July 30, 10 //

I know the top one is crooked; I attribute that to taking most of my India photographs from within a moving vehicle with closed windows. It wasn’t considered safe stopping and getting out to take photographs.

I like how these two work together.

Red + Cream

More colour swatches….

Green + Pink

July 22, 10 //

Since we’re on colours…..

Here are some that were taken outside of our hotel in Jaipur.

What a gorgeous pink shawl.

Another possible triptych?

Man with Cart

Here’s my Man With Cart (à la Hobography)

Eyes

July 16, 10 //

It’s been a while since I posted a portrait, so here’s one from our ride into Jaipur.    This boy was riding in the auto rickshaw beside us and our vehicle wasn’t able to align with them long enough for me to get a shot (rickshaws are able to meander their way more easily through narrow streets and between traffic).  I was pretty happy to finally get this one.

Aren’t his eyes magnificent?
