Cathedral

August 12, 10 //

Can’t leave Glasgow without a couple from Glasgow Cathedral, the oldest building in Glasgow (13th century), with its Tomb of St. Kentigern or St. Mungo as he was known as.

Glasgow

August 7, 10 //

First stop was Glasgow, where I was for about a day, until we took the train to Stirling.

Scotland brings to mind, red, brown and grey.  I even packed my red tartan scarf and trench for the occasion (I didn’t have to use my scarf because it wasn’t quite so cold) but I did see quite a bit of red, brown and grey.

Here, a few from our walk about town.

Crooked

July 30, 10 //

I know the top one is crooked; I attribute that to taking most of my India photographs from within a moving vehicle with closed windows. It wasn’t considered safe stopping and getting out to take photographs.

I like how these two work together.

Earthquake

June 24, 10 //

Toronto experienced an earthquake yesterday at 1:41pm.
(I didn’t feel it though, as I was wobbling around on a bosu ball at the time)
It made me think about nature and how easily things can change within a matter of seconds.   So I thought I’d post up some photos from our Grand Canyon visit this past February.   There was SNOW there at the time!

Isn’t nature astounding?

Backwaters

June 16, 10 //

This one is from our trip to India this past February and one of our stops was Trivandrum, Kerala. We did a day-trip on the backwaters in Kerala.

This boy was very enthusiastic about getting his photo taken.

See more of my Kerala photos here.

Sailing

June 14, 10 //

This one is from last summer; sailing in Oakville.

Quebec City

June 10, 10 //

I’ve been day-dreaming about Paris and everything Parisian!  The closest we get to Paris is Quebec City, and I love the historic quaintness about it.  There’s the Old City, the poutine, the cobblestones, staying at the Chateau Frontenac, having coffee and tea at Le Saint-Amour before dinner hours even begin (!) and hearing stories about Sir Paul McCartney’s dinner there and seeing his menu!

It’s a wonderful place to visit.

Here are some captures.
